Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Higher Education

Evolve your leadership skills into a career with this program designed to be completed by working professionals in as little as 39 months. You will gain the knowledge, skills and abilities to identify critical leadership issues facing higher education institutions. You will also focus on using data effectively to make decisions as well as learning theory for traditional and adult learners. Your practice-based dissertation research will happen simultaneously with your coursework, giving you access to faculty and other students as you develop this work.

The fully online doctorate in education leadership program is a 60-credit hour program, with eight core courses, seven research courses and five concentration courses.

Courses are offered 100% online in a 7-week accelerated format, with two 7-week terms roughly equaling the length of a traditional semester. Students can start in the fall or spring.
